Palm Sunday: What will Jesus’ final triumphal entry be like?
Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!”

Did these cheers ring hollow in the Savior’s ears? Did he feel compassion even then, knowing some of them would jeer him on the cross?
We don’t see processions very often in this day and age. A holiday parade is often as close as we get. And still we clap and cheer for the high school bands and the silly floats. We applaud the veterans who come by.
But what will the final, glorious procession of Jesus Christ be like?

Next time you hear of a parade somewhere, go to it and watch. Imagine what it would be like if one of the parade entries was Jesus on a donkey.
