What does God say about my worth?

Dear God,

I struggle to see myself accurately. At some moments I fail to see my faults, and at other times I fail to see my value. Impress on my heart that you love me for who I am, not because of what I do for you. Psalm 139 tells me that you loved me before I made my first mistake, before I uttered my first word, and even before I took my first breath! Your love for me is an eternal thread woven through my life and is proved through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus on my behalf. That kind of love amazes me. How can I not be encouraged? When I doubt my worth, may I never forget that you have made me worthy—through the precious blood of Christ.

Amen

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself.
